The Statement Trench

There is no doubt this spring is all about the bold, pop colors. We’re seeing it everywhere: mint, neon orange and yellow, fire-engine red, royal blue on denim jeans, clutches, bags and purses.

At RAINFOREST we’ve taken the trench coat, pulled up the hemline just a little, and thrown a splash of color to spice up this timeless classic. Here we have the Tangerine Packable Short Trench Coat:

What’s great about this trench is that it comes with a tote bag where you can store the coat in case it gets too warm out. If you are wearing the coat the tote folds up into a wallet that can easily be slipped into the coat pocket.

The fabric is water repellent and has easy wrinkle recovery so you don’t have to bother with an iron each time you fold up the coat to put it in its bag. Just take out the coat, shake it out, and smooth over the wrinkles with your hand. It’s great for travel or if you’re having days when you can’t quite figure out what the weather will be like on the commute to the office.

This belted trench coat also has a snap tab that secures the belt in place as well as gives the coat additional stylistic detail.

It’s 2 coats for the price of 1. On one side is genuine really soft and supple lamb leather. It looks great worn over anything plus it feels amazing.

The Perfect Winter Jacket

Winter is around the corner! (kind of, it’s hard to tell with all the warm weather we’ve been getting) Anyway, winter is supposed to be around the corner so this week let’s take a look at RAINFOREST’s 3-in-1 Waterproof Down Parka.

What is a 3-in-1 jacket? Well this label (which is sewn into the lining of the jacket) explains it all.

The shell of the jacket is made of micro twill, which is a technologically advanced fabric that makes it waterproof, windproof, and breathable. Basically it’s element proof, thus making it a great jacket for…well, everything. Rain, snow, sleet, hail, this jacket can withstand anything. The layer inside can be worn on its own or as a liner or warmer to be worn all together with the shell.

The liner is made with shiny, sport cire, which gives it an urban edge. It’s extremely light weight but warm at the same time. The wool/cashmere collar adds additional comfort to the neck and the leather trim on the pockets further accentuate the excellent quality and attention to detail.
